I'm thinking of trying to get the MPA along with the certificate in non-profit organizations. That will hopefully give me some options other than the state. Yayoi and I play a lot of Dr. Mario. We were looking at a house but have since decided against it for now.

Yayoi is sleeping now. We are trying to watch 24 Season 4 which was the first season I didn't finish but have had on DVD since Christmas 2005. Now that my comic collection is winding down I will have more time for other things. I picked up my penultimate regular new issue (Justice Society of America 27) yesterday. For the last year and a half I've been buying tons of comics in order to fill in my collection but the last few weeks I have absorbed almost all of the 50 cent fodder books and have planed to exit new titles in exchange for trades.

Went to the Y four times this week for about an hour and a half each time. 35 minutes elliptical 4 minutes stretching and 4 or 5 weight machine excercises.

Saw Slumdog Millionaire today. I can see why it got best picture. Liked it a lot. I want to see Star Trek tomorrow but Yayoi hates sci-fi. John Ostrander is going to be at the Superman Festival this year. Oh yeah!

Today was pretty good. I kept busy.

Didn't read any comics but read the first 10 percent of Cheaper by the Dozen for Yayoi's book club. Pretty cool.

Detailed our new 2010 Honda Insight then worked on patching the computer chair in our room.

Saw Robocop 2. Evil children in things annoy me. It is hard to take them seriously.

Now I have a headache.

I started working with Kiva.org to give microloans to people. This is cool because it helps build trade and infrastructure as opposed to just piling money into feeding someone rice or something. Plus if you get your money back you can loan it out to someone else.

I have been really tired lately. I'm thinking about keeping livejournal and facebook and getting rid of myspace. That would be much simpler. I haven't had any ideas lately about things to write so maybe getting used to writing again would be helpful.

About two weeks ago Yayoi and I bought a 2010 Honda Insight. It is pretty cool. We could have gone cheaper and bought a used Prius but it wouldn't be long until the battery needed replacing or some little thing went wrong. The cost savings wouldn't be all the much. It is neat because the speedometer glows blue and green depending on how efficiently you are driving. There are also lots of ways to measure your driving and it scores you at the end of a trip. If you were to drive as environmentally conscious as the scale goes you would be drug out of your car and shot by someone. It trains you to drive like a very old man.

Yayoi worked today at Publix and later at Miyako. I spent the day rearranging my comics. At the next sale Great Escape has I will have to stock up on supplies.

I liked Watchmen despite the removal of some of the more emotionally resonant parts in it. Re-reading the comic has caused me to get another case of "The Watchmen Effect" where every other superhero comic is completely lifeless after it. Most new stuff is pretty bland. I really like the Sandman Mystery Theater trades though. The Denny O Neil issues of Justice League of America also stood up to "the Watchmen effect" pretty well.

I'm still digging on Lost. It has gone on to surpass Twin Peaks as my favorite show of all time. It has to be the most complex show ever on television. I'm trying to figure out what the point of all of it is. To what is it leading?

What music will you remember 2007 by?
Rockstar by that band that has the music that slowly eats my soul Nickleback or Silverfish or whatever. Every time I start to work at the state they are all over the radio. Now I ride the bus to work so it is all good.

25) Who has been your best drinking buddy?
Yayoi

26) Made new friends?
Yes.

27) New best friends?
No.

28) Favorite Night out?
That would have to be either Asakusa, Gion or Seisekisakuragaoka.

20 Years ago I was in 3rd grade. Starting my first year in Nashville at St. Henry's School. Probably arguing with Kevin Bishop about the color of the duck in our Under the Big Top poster for the Carnival.

15 years ago I was in 8th grade. Riding home with the Andersons so I could watch Batman the Animated series and a big supporter of Ross Perot.

10 years ago. I was starting UTM and begining to hang out at Iman's. Talking comics with Scarcrest was another big thing that fall. My first Calzone. Failing Chemistry.

5 years ago. I was just past my probationary period as a clerk at Tenncare. Starting MTSU taking a graduate course in Industrial and Orgainzational Psychology. Getting ready for Travis' Halloween party.

2 years ago. I was going to Christopher French's wedding. Drinking and dancing a lot.

Last year. I was waiting for season 3 of LOST to start after just watching seasons 1 and 2 on DVD and preparing to go to Japan.

Yesterday. I talked to Yayoi and ate chocolate cake with cherries Plus I bought a belt, had sushi for lunch, and bought some antifungal medicine to cure a ringworm infection that came from this over thick and sweaty leather watchband I have. Ewwww.

Today. Today I washed, waxed, vacumed, Armoralled and Febreezed my car as well as did isometric excercises while reading 3 or 4 more issues of the Malev War issues of Magnus: Robot Fighter and Rai and the Future Force.

Tomorrow I have to go to work again. Boo hoo hoo.

Not only will I handle occasional payroll problems but I will also work on transactions and helping to bring the Edison program to BOPP. I have no cube but I do have a laptop which I can set up anywhere and get to work.

I had some weird dreams last night including one where I was at a museum of Asian stuff and I had to help free a bunch of women in this silk sweat shop. Then I was hanging out and Ted Nugent pulled up with a dumptruck full of (maybe about 12 or so) large tiger carcasses and was talking about hunting at Sigfried and Roy's house or something but then the tigers were playing possom and got up and started to attack. The weird part was I woke up laughing and not scarred or anything.
